Organ Recital: Andrew Sheranian
Thursday, May 14, 4:40 p.m. A pre-Evensong Organ Recital. Choral Evensong at 5 p.m. Andrew Sheranian is currently serving as Interim Organist and Choirmaster at The Parish of the Good Shepherd in the Waban neighborhood of Newton. From 2010-2025, he was Organist and Master of Choristers at the Parish of All Saints, Ashmont (Episcopal) in Boston, a church known for its commitment to excellence in liturgy and music. He is also organist on staff at The College Church of Seventh-Day Adventists in Lancaster, MA, and at the Parish of St. Ignatius of Loyola (RC) in Chestnut Hill. Mr. Sheranian holds degrees in organ performance from New England Conservatory and Yale University.

Organ Recital: Andrew Scanlon
Wednesday, June 17, 5 p.m. A free 40-minute organ recital. Andrew Scanlon, FAGO, is the Associate Organist & Choirmaster at The Church of the Advent in Boston. From 2009—2021, Scanlon was the organ professor at East Carolina University, and Organist-Choirmaster at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Greenville, N.C. He previously held positions in New York, Buffalo, and Pittsburgh. He is a frequent recitalist and clinician, having performed and taught throughout the USA, as well as in Canada, England, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia, and Nigeria. He is a graduate of Duquesne University and Yale University.

Organ Recital: David Tierney
Wednesday, July 15, 5 p.m. A free 40-minute organ recital. David Tierney has held positions as organist and choir director for over forty-five years and currently serves as Minister of Music in St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dedham, Mass. David served as Head of School at Cambridge Friends School from 2018 to 2023 is currently Executive Director of Brookline Music School.

Organ Concert: Jeremy Filsell
Friday, August 7, 7 p.m. Before moving permanently to the US in 2008, Jeremy Filsell held academic and performance lectureships at the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and was for nine years an alto lay clerk in the choir of St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. Since residing in the U.S., he has combined an international recital and teaching career with being Director of Music at the Church of the Epiphany in Washington, D.C., Artist-in-Residence at Washington National Cathedral, and Professor of Organ at Peabody Conservatory (Baltimore). In 2018, he was appointed Director of Music at Saint Thomas Church, Fifth Avenue, New York where, while leading the internationally-renowned Choir of Men and Boys, he broadened the artistic profile of the church’s concert series, expanded the choir’s repertoire to include more American and 21st-century music, and recorded commercially the choral music of Byrd, Gerre Hancock, Calvin Hampton, and most recently, of Kenneth Leighton (Signum). Having enjoyed musical association with Sarasota for over twenty-five years, he became Director of Music at Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton, Florida in the summer of 2025.
