Sharing God’s gift of music is a primary way St. Christopher’s seeks to enrich the lives of its parishioners and guests. Building upon a long-standing tradition of excellence, St. Christopher’s seeks to provide music opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Adult Choir

The Adult Choir is a non-auditioned ensemble of singers open to teens and adults that provides choral music for weekly Sunday services throughout the year, as well as Choral Evensongs and special services. This choir sings a wide range of repertoire spanning the last 600 years, including standard classical anthems, spirituals, and world music. Rehearsals are in the Parish Hall on Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:45 pm, and Sundays at 9 am.

Evensong Choir 2023

Evensong Choir

The adult choir is augmented by friends and guests of St. Christopher’s who enjoy singing for special services such as Choral Evensong, Episcopal visits, etc. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:15 to 6:15 pm as announced, in the sanctuary. If you are interested in participating, contact the choirmaster.

Handbell Choir

The three-octave handbell choir provides music for the worship service as often as possible, and is a featured ensemble during festival seasons. The handbell choir enjoys a wide range of music, employing a variety of ringing techniques. Prior music reading ability is helpful, but not required. Rehearsals are held weekly in the Committee Room.
