Place an early bid for the Summer Auction!
(Please include Name, telephone number, item number and a few words describing the item, and your maximum bid.)

Excitement is building for this year’s annual Summer Auction, St. Christopher’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

And to make things even more exciting – and fun and convenient -- brand new events are up for bid and there are new ways to place your bids before the big event. Also, for a couple special items, you can purchase tickets even before the auction begins!

New this year at St. Christopher’s Summer Auction:

     ● Place your bids EARLY online!

Have family in town or there’s a conflict in your schedule and you just can’t make it n Aug. 7? You can still bid on items featured in the online auction program at our web site, www.StChristophersChatham.org. Preview the trips, golf outings, Red Sox tickets, jewelry, activities, good and services and, if you wish to bid on an item, you can simply click on a link and send your name, contact information, the name and number of the item you desire and the amount of your highest bid. Our own Dean Ervin will act as your proxy the day of the auction.

     ● Seize Early Bird opportunities to lock in ticket prices to St. Christopher’s Follies or Bridge lessons before the day of the Auction, when prices could be bid up, or the tickets sold out!

     ● Follow hyperlinks to the businesses who have contributed goods or services! It’s our way of recognizing those who support our church through their donations to the Auction.

     ● Check back for live updates! The Auction brochure will be updated frequently to include late-arriving items, so check back often.

Remember, you don’t have to be present to bid at our Summer Auction and help support all of St. Christopher’s many programs.

SUMMER AUCTION FAQ

Are tickets still available?

The St. Christopher's Auction is coming up very soon on Saturday, Aug. 7.  Don't wait, buy your tickets now, and invite your friends. Flyers are going into businesses around town, and the Auction catalog is now online for all to see, so don't miss out. Tickets are $30 per person, which includes dinner and drinks.  Seating is limited, so make sure you buy your tickets before the night of the Auction.

When will the Canoe Raffle winner be drawn?

This year we are doing a canoe raffle for a great LL Bean canoe with all of the necessary gear to get you out on the water.  The raffle tickets are $3 apiece, or 4 for $10.  We will draw the winning ticket on Auction night, so do purchase your raffle tickets now.  Included with the 14 foot LL Bean Osprey canoe are both paddles and oars, as well as two adult life vests, car top carrier and wheels to help you move it from car to water easily.

I want to bid on Auction items, but cannot be there the evening, what can I do?

Do look carefully at the many wonderful Auction donations available, everything from fine art to gift certificates to many Lower Cape restaurants, gift shops and service providers.  Since not all parshioners can attend on Auction night, we are offering you the opportunity to put in an advance bid or have a 'Silent Bidder' help you get that coveted donation.  Here is  how it works:
     - Advance bids can be placed by emailing stcsilentbidder@hotmail.com   Bids can be emailed up to noon on Saturday, August 7.  All bids received will become the opening bid on the donated item.
      - Silent Bidder will be Dean Ervin.  You can call Dean directly to let him know what specific item you are interested in, what your minimum bid would be, and what maximum you would accept.  Dean's number is (508) 945-0382.
